Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our beloved community.
Before you sign up, you should understand that you are registering to enter a private faith-based community (a private association of like-minded individuals). We hold strong morals and values that every member must abide by. We do not tolerate rude behavior, promotion of sin as defined by the holy scriptures, or other behavior that is unbecoming of those striving to become like Yeshua the Messiah.
You are not required agree with every doctrine we teach, believe, or promote. You, however, are expected to refrain from promoting your contrary beliefs in a manner that incites controversy, dissensions, or factions instead of a civil discussion.
By applying to become a member, you are forming a legally-binding agreement between you and all members of this community. You agree to act in honor, trust, and good faith.
MEMBERS MUST AFFIRM THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS
- I believe that Yeshua is the son of God, came in the flesh of a man, born of a woman, who was handed over to be crucified, though having committed no sin, but God raised him from the dead three days later, to save us from our sins, and to redeem us from the curse of sin.
- I have committed my life to pursuing the ways of God to the best of my understanding,
- To walk in the commandments,
- To seek righteousness,
- And to walk in love, spirit, and in truth.
- I agree that I know nothing as I ought to know (1 Corinthians 8:1-2).
- We all must concede that it is possible we could be wrong about what we believe, even if we think we know all there is about it.
- Every member is expected to be able to reflect, examine the scriptures, and say, “I might be wrong.”
- I will act in love and respect to other members of this community, and to all people outside of the community.
- I will encourage others and build up their faith.
- I will not do anything that would otherwise undermine the faith of another member.
- I will not be hateful, dismissive, use non-Christ-like language, or put others down in any way.
- I understand that this community follows, upholds, and promotes the law of God as the standard for righteousness.
- I will not promote any sin that is plainly defined in the holy scriptures.
- In maintaining the privacy of every member, I will not share anything from within the community outside of the community, unless I have gained the permission of the individuals that it affects.
RIGHTS AND PRIVACY POLICY
- The Way Community reserves the right to deny your membership request for any reason, and is not obligated to inform you of that reason. However, you are more than welcome to inquire about your application status, and if rejected, why you were denied.
- The Way Community reserves the right to moderate your posts, comments, images shared, and messages according to community guidelines and standards. We also reserve the right to suspend or ban your account at our discretion with or without warning.
- You reserve the right of freedom of association. You may leave at any time, without question, without pressure. You are also free to rejoin if you left amicably.
- You reserve the right to delete any of your posts, comments, and messages at your discretion.
Privacy of all members is something we value immensely, though very little of it is possible to control anymore, but we try to afford our members every possible means to control their privacy within the community.
- Everything shared within the community, stays within the community. Doxxing is strictly prohibited. No cross-posting on other platforms without permission. No sharing private messages between yourself and other members within or without the community, unless you have their explicit consent.
- Our security plugins collect your IP address, recording where you visit on the site, in order to block bot and/or malicious activity (you should see the amount of bot activity the average site receives daily).
- Anything you share with us (name, email, posts, and images) is stored on our website/host provider. You are free to share as much or as little as you please. Upon your departure, you may request that we delete all information related to your account (including)—which we will honor, but we may choose to retain your name/email and reason for departure for our records in the event you wish to return.
- Your data is never shared without your permission nor is it sold. Not now, not ever.
